All you need to do is print, laminate and use a pack of clothing pegs. Children place the peg on the choice of 3 numbers to match the amount of animals on the card. Cards are from 0-10. A game for 4 players with characters from the book, Dear Zoo, by Rod Campbell. Each player has a coloured board with 6 pictures on and on the table in the middle are 24 pictures turned upside down. Each player takes it in turns to turn a card to see if it matches to one on their board. The winner is the person to find all their pictures first. A class set of 30 challenge cards to use at forest school or just in your outdoor area, garden or park. The cards can be used to help plan forest school activities by choosing a card a week or you could hand out a card to each child. These cards can be used as they are or mounted onto card and then laminated to help to make them waterproof and wipeable for outdoor use. The cards are for a wide range of ages, from early years onwards. Most activities can be completed independently some with adult help and supervision. 20 Pages of Resources to assist teaching within forest school, all with a natural wood effect. Activity 1: Shape Identification and Coloring 5 coloring pages with various pictures containing 2D shapes 5 shapes at the bottom of each page for identification (circle, square, triangle, rectangle, etc) Instructions: Provide the child with the coloring pages and a set of colouring pencils. Ask the child to carefully examine each picture on the coloring pages. For each picture, instruct the child to identify the corresponding shape from the set of 5 shapes at the bottom of the page. Once identified, the child should colour the shape in the matching colour indicated on the page. Repeat the process for all coloring pages. Activity 2: Shape Matching with Pegs 1 large activity sign 6 peg pictures with different 2D shapes Instructions: Scatter the 6 peg pictures around the tray. Provide the child with pegs. Instruct the child to examine the shape in the center and identify which one of the 4 pictures matches it. Once the correct picture is identified, the child should place a peg on the corresponding picture. Encourage the child to repeat the process with other shapes on the tray. These activities aim to enhance shape recognition skills and fine motor coordination in a fun and interactive way.
